Kelly began singing at the age of 8, and was always interested in performing from a very young age. Throughout secondary school and college she had been involved in the soul band, jazz band, concert band, choir and chamber choir, through which enabled her to sing at the Royal Albert Hall and perform in Billy Elliot at the Brighton Dome.

Outside of education, Kelly was part of a 4-part vocal Hampshire Quartet named MELO, through which she sang on the IndigO2 stage inside the O2 Millennium Dome during the finals of Open Mic UK Competition. Following this opportunity came a radio and newspaper interview, a record label interview in London and many exposure events that have developed her confidence as a performer.

Kelly has received Distinction in the grade 8 ABRSM exam for classical voice, and Merit in grade 7. From 2010-2013 she had been a Hampshire Music Service 'Exceptional Ability Award Student', where she then became involved in the Hampshire County Youth Choir.

BIOGRAPHY

Her love for teaching developed through private one-to-one lessons with young students ages 8-16 for 4 years, and through teaching swimming to primary children for 3 years as a volunteer with Fareham Nomads Swimming Club.

Through currently studying BA Music at Bath Spa University, Kelly has gained experience and lessons in classical singing from a member of the Welsh National Opera, and her breadth of languages now ranges from English and French through to Italian and German.

As well as singing, Kelly also has a grade 5 ABRSM certificate in trumpet, and also plays the piano and guitar. She has recently begun learning the alto saxophone as part of her degree, and has so far gained a stage 3 standard and continues to practise this  in the Concert Orchestra Society.
